Get up and dance, sit back and enjoy the music, or take part in fun activities on the pioneer farm. The Tallahassee Museum outdoor stage area is truly the most gorgeous venue in town, and one of the few places fans can bring their families to hear live music. Plenty of tasty treats and frosty beverages will be available at the cafe and cash bar! Come on out and enjoy one of the Tallahassee Museum’s great concerts! Guests are welcome to bring camp chairs and blankets.

The Tallahassee Jazz & Blues Festival enables visitors to experience our cultural heritage in this American musical art form, including Dixieland, swing, contemporary jazz, and more.
At the time this event was founded, there was no place in our area for families to experience jazz and blues music. It appeared to be an endangered part of our local culture, and the event was started to both help preserve this music, and to present it in an environment where our members and visitors could enjoy it with their entire families.
The Jazz & Blues Festival has assisted in preserving this vital musical heritage for Tallahassee, and is the oldest continuous Jazz & Blues Festival in this area, and one of the oldest continuous musical events in this area regardless of genre.
