I have been attracted to beautiful glass for I don’t know how long. My addiction ranges from the vintage bottles that sit all along my windowsills to beach glass that I am neurotic about finding to my love of stained glass in all forms. I have been teaching both beginning stained glass classes and advanced classes since 2009 at the Lafayette Art Center and recently opened up my own shop for the repair of broken glass pieces, Debi the Glass Gal, LLCCreating a new work is certainly less challenging as repairing broken pieces, but there was such a need and so many requests that I decided to open my own studio for repairs, and I love being a small business owner. I find that most of my clients have held onto their broken pieces for as long as 10 years (and some even longer) because they just didn’t know where to turn. I am so glad that I am able to offer my services so these beautiful works of art can be brought back out into the light and bRing smiles to my client’s faces!
