Ara Tolar & Meg Griffin Artist Talk at Grassroots

Fall is here, and we’re turning up the energy as we count down to Wildlife Arts Festival!

To kick off the season, join us at Grassroots Coffee for a free artist talk featuring regional wildlife artists Ara Tolar and Meg Griffin. Through distinct yet complementary perspectives, both artists capture the beauty, character and wild spirit of the natural world.

Together, they’ll share the stories and inspiration behind Meg Griffin’s Rooted and Ara Tolar’s Florida Gems—two exhibitions that invite us to reconnect with local wildlife and celebrate the remarkable biodiversity found throughout Florida and the coastal South.

Guiding the conversation is beloved local artist Jennifer Vanderbeek, whose nature-inspired work and own experience exhibiting at Grassroots Coffee bring a unique perspective to the evening.
