Add Events, Classes and Workshops

TallahasseeArts.org is free and easy to use, and we welcome your arts and cultural events, classes, workshops and camps taking place in our 100-mile service area. Once your event is approved, you can edit it so please add your events as soon as you know about them. Our arts events are shared with Visit Tallahassee, appear on the Choose Tallahassee website, and are viewed by regional publications and visitors who are planning their visits, in addition to reaching thousands of local community members.

Tallahassee Arts Guide “This Week!” E-Mail

Sent to a growing list of over 14,000 recipients each Monday, this newsletter gives a weekly snapshot of the hundreds of arts and cultural happenings in Florida’s Capital Region. All events will be taken from the TallahasseeArts.org calendar, and must be listed by Friday the week before publication. Click here to learn more about COCA’s advertising opportunities.

Submit to COCA's "Behind the Scenes"

COCA’s “Behind the Scenes” albums showcase photos of events in the preparation stages: rehearsals, set building, artworks in process, etc. We want to show the community all the wonderful work that goes into your artworks, productions, and performances.

Before you get started – make sure you have an overall description of your event, five photos with a description of what is pictured, and have your event posted on tallahasseearts.org.

COCA will try to accommodate all requests, but we cannot guarantee a “Behind the Scenes” feature.

COCA is excited to share new “Artists Inspire” stories that give us a glimpse into the minds and hearts of area artists of all genres in our 100-mile service area! Please submit your listing here.

COCA Spotlight

COCA provides content each week for Sunday’s Tallahassee Democrat. All our stories are about individual people, and are usually related to upcoming cultural events. (Click here to check out recently published articles.)

Get Listed

COCA maintains an online directory of arts and cultural organizations in the Capital Region. Basic listings are free for all arts organizations. (Note: it may be appropriate for your organization to be listed in more than one category.) To add or update a listing please visit TallahasseeArts.org, if you have questions please send an e-mail to info@tallahasseearts.org.

Reach Teachers

Do you have an arts-related educational program designed for K-12 schools? COCA for the Classroom gives educators an in-depth look at the arts in education programs that Tallahassee, Leon County, and the surrounding areas have to offer. Click here to learn more about COCA for the Classroom.

Need to get the word out to local teachers? COCA’s Arts in Education Newsletter goes out to educators and administrators in 16 counties on the first Tuesday of each month. There is no charge for listings as long as they meet the established criteria. To submit your listing, please send a text-only description of 50 words or less to us at info@tallahasseearts.org.

Deadline for submission is 5:00 pm on the fourth Monday of the month. COCA reserves the right to include or exclude any listing at its discretion and to determine the content and placement of all listings. Click here to learn more about COCA’s advertising opportunities.

Visit Tallahassee: Tourism Marketing Workshop

Explore the ways to maximize your impact with best practices for Tourism Marketing, including updates from Visit Tallahassee on digital, PR, marketing, & communications!

Scott Lindeman & Genesis Leggett will present exciting initiatives and promotional opportunities from Visit Tallahassee. Samantha Sumler from COCA will offer a refresher on how to use COCA services to maximize your regional footprint.

This workshop is essential for organizations receiving a COCA Cultural Grant or a COCA Cultural Tourism Marketing grant, but all community arts partners are welcome.
