The Ikebana Iwaya Fund is offering grants to support ikebana-related events and activities, including exhibitions, workshops, conferences, and educational programs.
The deadline for this grant is rolling, but applicants are encouraged to apply at least six months to one year before their event or program.
The maximum award for this grant is not fixed; each application is evaluated individually based on the activity and available funds.
Eligible applicants include ikebana organizations (such as Ikebana International Chapters, study groups, and branches) and qualified individuals. Organizations do not need to be 501(c)(3) nonprofits to apply.
Grant funds should be used to support ikebana-related programming that demonstrates public outreach and engagement, including demonstrations, youth programs, and seed funding for new initiatives.
Individual applicants must demonstrate both financial need and strong public outreach. Multi-year grants are possible but limited to three years and require annual reporting. Grants outside the U.S. may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
