Funds for Visual Artists Available Now

The Liu Shiming Art Foundation is offering grants to visual artists for project support.

The deadline for this grant is August 31, 2026.

The maximum award for this grant is $5,000.

Eligible applicants are visual artists who have been working for at least 2 years (but no more than 10 years). Eligible applicants must have either received a degree in studio arts between 2016 and 2024, or had their debut show at a gallery or juried art exhibition between 2016 and 2026.

Funds are intended to support the completion of current projects or the creation of new projects that focus on exploring the relationship between contemporary artist practice and traditional cultural or historical influences.
