Word of South with Rebecca Makkai

Word of South is excited to host bestselling author Rebecca Makkai, Thursday, September 11! Rebecca is the author of five novels, including The Great Believers, which was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize and The National Book Award, winner of the ALA Carnegie Medal, winner of the LA Times Book Prize, and included on the list of the New York Times Ten Best Books of 2018.

Come and join us for an evening to discuss Rebecca’s most recent novel, I Have Some Questions for You. Our friend Sally Bradshaw, owner of Midtown Reader, loves this book! We’ll be in conversation with Rebecca at Westminster Oaks in the Maguire Center at 6:30pm, followed by a book signing.
